Ok food. Big blueberry crisp. Fair steak.

Excellent place for fish and chips right in the middle of the historic town of Brigus. Great live music all summer long too.

Ate at the Country Corner today. I had soup and sandwich; my husband had moose burger with fries. It was Delicious!! The roast beef sandwich was so fresh and the pea soup really hit the spot. My husband loved the fires and told me I was lucky he shared a fry with me; the moose burger was tasty and juicy. Service was Great.

We came in to have lunch this afternoon and we were disappointed. It took awhile for us to be given menus and to be served. We waited about 20 minutes for our food which was perfectly fine. However, one of the meals we ordered did not show up. After waiting about 20 more minutes and finishing the two meals that did show up, the salad finally came. We were not checked on and we didn’t receive cutlery. Our waiter did take the salad off the bill and gave us a discount and the food we received did taste good. However, we would not recommend as the service was very poor.

Rustic, simple room. We ordered tea and their self proclaimed world’s best blueberry crisp. And you know, that crisp was pretty darn tasty!

Had a nice lunch here when we were out sightseeing. I had the chowder with a biscuit (in the uk it's called a plain scone) and the blueberry crisp. Others had fish and chips, and the batter looked lovely and crispy.

Amazing Restaurant! Food is great, and the staff are very friendly! Since the new owner took over the place really looks great! 5 Stars all the way!

Cheery reception and seated promptly. Service was timely with a warm atmosphere. The barley soup was excellent. The breading on the fish and chips was a bit soggy and the portion could have been more generous for the price. However the blueberry crisp was excellent. Overall experience was very good. Definitely worth another visit to try some other varieties from their menu.

We had a moose burger and cod chowder and MY GOD were they delicious!!!

Went there for lunch and had the turkey soup and Turkey sandwich . It was delicious! Had the blueberry crisp too, which is my favorite ! Excellent service as well!

Fish and chips were soggy. Seemed like they had been cooked much earlier and reheated in microwave. Fish was nice but batter and chips not good

lovely place in centre of town. We eat here a few times a year during the summer months when staying at our friends cottage. Lovely food, staff, and lots of souvenirs

I had the fish and chips which were pretty good. The service was great and it was nice going in before peak tourist season.

Excellent chowder & blueberry dessert!

Holy moly! This place is awesome! We stopped in for coffee and dessert and we were not disappointed! We had eaten a picnic lunch near one of the churches, so we weren't hungry for a full meal - but wished we had been! Excellent coffee and perfect berry crisps - we had blueberry and partridgeberry.

I enjoy the variety on the GF menu. The GF blueberry crisp is worth the hour-long drive from town.

Brigus is a beautiful town and this is the only place to eat. It is your typical Newfoundland resturant with tourist pricing.

Cod chowder & biscuit was scrumptious. Service lacked a little. Very nice gift shop.

Both food and service was wonderful.

Definitely worth checking out for the fish chowder and the blueberry dessert! The staff are friendly and accommodating, but don't expect fast service though as it's more of a laid-back establishment.
